This week is English Tourism week, a week long celebration of all that English tourism has to offer. One city in particular that should be shouted loud and proud about in this country is Liverpool, with its impressive waterfront, largest collection of museums and galleries outside of London and lots of things to see and do, places to explore, delicious places to eat at and a host of fab events.
No visit to Liverpool would be without a trip to Liverpool ONE, one of Europe’s leading retail and leisure destinations and so with that sentiment in mind, here’s my list of 5 things to do at Liverpool ONE.
There is an incredible array of options for eating out at Liverpool ONE and just one look at liverpool-one.com/food-and-drink will leave you salivating. Whether you need to refuel during a shopping spree, you’re looking to treat the kids or you want to share a romantic bottle of wine if you’ve managed to escape on a weekend away, there’s something for everyone. From American, British, Italian, Thai, Brazilian, Mexican, Catalan, Caribbean or French – the list is pretty much exhaustive!
Get fashion forward
Every mama needs a little retail therapy once in a while, and thankfully Liverpool ONE is just the place to make that happen. With something for every taste and budget, the time for a new you is now! With designer labels such as Hugo Boss, Michael Kors and Ted Baker just a walk away from high street favourites like Warehouse, Zara and H&M, Liverpool ONE is the perfect place to give your wardrobe a major shake up.
With the widest range of makeup and beauty shops in Liverpool, this is the time to give your face, nails and locks the va-va-voom they deserve with brands like MAC, EstéeLauder, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Chanel, Urban Decay and many more. If that’s not enough, you can finish your spree with a spot of pampering. Head to PRADO for everything from a cut and finish, to eyelash extensions, to a luxury manicure. Meow!
If you’ve got the kids in tow then there’s plenty to keep them entertained, including Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf, ODEON Kids Club and Chavasse Park plus shops like the Build-A-Bear Workshop and the Disney Store which are always a bit hit with the littles.
Take in an event
There’s always something happening at Liverpool ONE and there are lots of exciting things coming up in the next few months including the Threshold Festival of Music & Arts busking and even the chance to bust out your best table tennis skills or kick back and relax under their famous Reading Trees.
So if you’re planning on making a getaway to Liverpool, be sure to make a stop at Liverpool ONE whether it’s for a family day out or an indulgent shopping trip just for mum, Liverpool ONE has everything you need.
