Nothing comes close to the book as the perfect present at Christmas, but with so many books to choose from for our children, where on earth do we start in finding those Christmas gift books for kids?
Well, here’s a hint….
Make it easy for yourself and have a look at the brand new Gift Guide from Scholastic Book Club. With over 150 brilliant book ideas and special offers the guide is packed fuller than Santa’s sack with a wide-range of wonderful reads to suit all ages – from toddlers to teens. All of the books are significantly discounted with up to 70% off the RRP – and, if you shop with Scholastic, they will donate 20% worth of FREE BOOKS back to the shopper’s nominated nursery or school for every order over £10.
The books included in the guide have been selected from around 70 publishers and are a time-saving round-up of the most wanted titles at the moment – such as the new release from David Walliams, Geek Girl Christmas Special, Guinness Book of Records, Minecraft, Harry Potter, Wimpy Kid, Jacqueline Wilson and the new Disney film, Moana – to name just a few.
The guide will also feature some exclusive paperback editions of Michael Morpurgo’s, The Fox and The Ghost King and David Baddiel’s new book, AniMalcolm. If you’re looking for stocking fillers, there will be incredible value book bundles, as well as a dedicated Lego shop, and a whole host of other offers designed to bring happiness to children all over the UK this Christmas.
Scholastic are also running a fantastic competition for three schools or nurseries to win a book-laden sack worth £50. To enter, all you need to do is let them know which children’s book you’d love to give a child this Christmas and why, tagging Scholastic and using the hashtag #GiveABook. Entries need to be made by midnight on Friday 16th December.
