Valentine’s gift ideas for him

Today we’re talking Valentine’s gift ideas for him – otherwise known as: OH MY GOD WHAT DO I GET HIM???! But hey mama, instead of sweating bullets of yet another thing you have to fit into your daily life as you desperately google “Valentine’s gifts for him”, let me help you out by picking out some gifts for you. Hey, you can thank me later!

Valentine’s gift ideas for him

A stylish watch

A watch can be a great gift for a man on Valentine’s Day. It is a practical and stylish accessory that he can wear every day and will remind him of your special day. Additionally, watches come in a wide range of styles and prices, so you can find one that fits his taste and budget. We love this Seymour Phantom watch from Trendhim which is both practical, very stylish and affordable at £69.

Some swoon-worthy after shave splash

Why not make your other half feel like the gentleman he’s always wanted to, with some divine smelling after shave from the luxury British perfume house that is Penhaligon’s?  I’m a big fan of the Blenheim Bouquet which is  discreet, sensual and immaculately turned out with a flash of heritage flourish.

Some dapper boots

Remarkably, there’s nothing that shows you care more than buying your other half a pair of shoes – trust me I’ve been there and done it – and when it comes to the gift of shoes surely there is nothing that says amor more than a pair of leather boots, especially if they are a classic pair like these from Paul Smith.

A gorgeous business card holder

And not just any business card holder, but a personalised one which you can engrave with something that will make him truly feel like the Daddy. Not On The High Street always has a great selection worth checking out.

An amazing experience

For me the ultimate romantic experience has to be a hot air balloon ride. For that not look further than a magical sunrise flight together in an iconic Virgin Hot Air Balloon. Just think! A morning of serenity with an unforgettable 60 minute flight, then touching down in n style with a prosecco toast.

A customized gift

As a self-professed scrabble lover and wordsmith, I couldn’t leave this out…a quirky personalised print with your names spelt out in interlinked scrabble tiles from The Gift Experience….LOVE! Of course there are plenty of other customized gifts out there to choose from if words don’t do it for you or him.

Give the gift of bliss with a couples massage

Romance is…being massaged head to toe, blissfully, together….in your home! Well at least, it is for me. That being said, why not treat yourselves to a couples massage from Urban Massage (pool not included!).

A photobook or scrapbook

Photobooks and scrapbooks make great romantic gifts because they allow you to showcase and preserve memories of special moments and experiences that you’ve shared together. They are a tangible and sentimental way to remember the past and look forward to the future and can be customized and personalized to suit the individual preferences and styles of the person you’re giving it to. Photobooks/scrapbooks can be designed with text, captions, and special layouts to tell a story or highlight a specific theme or event. They also make great keepsake gifts that can be displayed and enjoyed for years to come.

A gift certificate for a meal at his favourite restaurant

If the way to your man’s heart is through his tummy, then a gift certificate for a meal at his favourite restaurant is a great way to show how much you appreciate him. If the restaurant in question doesn’t offer gift certificates, you can just use Canva to design one instead!

A custom-made shirt

A custom-made shirt can make a great gift for Valentine’s Day for a man. It’s a thoughtful and personal gift that shows you’ve taken the time to consider his style and preferences. It can be tailored to his specific measurements, ensuring a perfect fit and a comfortable feel. Additionally, you can choose from a variety of fabrics, colours, and designs to match his personal style. The folks at Hockerty are our favourite go-to for custom-made shirts!

Ultimately, the best Valentine’s Day gift will depend on the interests and tastes of the man you’re shopping for. Which present do you think you’d most like to get for your loved one? Do share a comment below.

  1. I keep forgetting just how soon Valentine’s is! These are great suggestions – it never gets any easier does it! I like the couples massage idea – because even if he doesn’t like the gift I know I will 🙂

  2. I got him boots for Christmas so I don’t think he needs another pair just yet but the wooden watch is really quirky and unique. Nice ideas.

  3. Totally didn’t realise that Penhaligon’s made an aftershave, I love that brand and it sounds like the perfect pamper gift! xx

  4. We don’t “do” Valentines day, much to my annoyance but I pretend not to care and go along with his claim of it being a money grabbing event. I would love to be whisked off my feet with romantic declarations of love (and chocolates!), but alas, I shall be lucky with a card…..*sigh*

  5. Hi! I am Emma from Branstaple, London. I was just browsing google for blogs ideas and found your blog. I must say you had a wonderful blog, design/material everything is awesome. Best wishes for you and your business. Thanks.

  6. Some interesting unique ideas, I always welcome a good idea! Love the idea of a wooden watch xx

  7. Men are so hard to buy Valentine’s gifts for. I love the boots but the personalised print with names spelt out in interlinked scrabble tiles is more romantic

  8. I love the idea of the Paul Smith shoes. The one’s on this post are gorgeous. Of course if I could get away with it I’d buy the couples massage because….hmmm, well then I would benefit too wouldn’t I?

  9. I’ve been with my husband for 10 years now and I still struggle to buy things for him. But what I find best is getting him an experience that we can share together as he is VERY VERY fussy with clothing and perfume and the ones I know he likes, he has so many already. I would love to go on a hot air balloon with him though
