So I have to admit, I have been rather late in rocking up to the spiralizer party which seems to have taken the foodie world by storm. I guess I just didn’t want to look like I was trying to pretend to be one of the Hemsley sisters or something. However, recently I got my hands on a Cookshop Spiralizer thanks to Ideal World TV and my goodness….how I am totally sold! And so now, let me share with you 5 reasons I love my Cookshop Spiralizer.
It makes vegetables fun
Vegetables in diced or stick form….boring! Vegetables in fun zany spring noodles….super fun! End of.
It’s more about just courgette noodles
OK yes we all know about courgette noodles – snore – but there are so many other things you can spiralize – beetroots, butternut squash, sweet potato, apple, carrots…and the list goes on!
It’s the perfect foil for fussy eaters
Haha take that! as I see my resident fussy eater literally picking off spiralized vegetables fresh from my favourite kitchen tool like they were candy. Mama 1 – Fussy Eater 0.
It’s super easy to use
Being the self-confessed ignoramus I am when it comes to most contraptions, even I wasn’t able to get confused about how to operate it. Super easy, even for idiots like me.
It’s massively versatile
Breakfast, lunch, dinner….the beauty of the spiralizer is that it can be used any time of the day, for any meal, making it a firm favourite in the kitchen tool department!
So if you have been wondering IF you need a spiralizer, it’s not a question of if, but if you are a parent with a resident fussy eater, it sure as heck makes life a little easier and more interesting when trying to get their rainbow quota in.
