You may have heard about pizza making parties for kids, or perhaps had your very own sproglets beg you for one but hey! why should the kids have all the fun? because did you know that Pizza Express offers pizza making parties for adults too?
Combining two of my favourite things – prosecco and pizza – a pizza making party is a fab way to have some fun and get your hands dirty with a bit of pizza making action.
Our pizza making party took place at Pizza Express, Westfield, White City – a stylee and newly revamped restaurant drawing heavy inspiration from White City Stadium’s illustrious history with the Olympic Games, complete with uber cool booth seating, pendant lighting, vintage-inspired colourful artworks and old Olympic posters of over a century ago. First things first – loving the vibe!
After kicking things off with some much needed lady petrol – aka prosecco – our lively night of pizza making fun began.
Led by our pizza making savants and party hosts, we set to work, hell bent on making THE perfect pizza in a head-to-head battle against our fellow pizza party guests which included the lovely Rebecca of AUU Blog, Rosie of Mummy and Boo and Sandhya or Sandhya’s Kitchen.
We learnt all the tricks of the trade (shhhhh I’m not telling here!) before letting loose on the bit we’d all been waiting for….layering on as many toppings as we possibly could. Well, at least I did….because I’m an all or nothing kind of girl!
Then our pizzas were duly whisked away, cooked and swiftly whooshed back to our tables for the best bit of all….tucking into our creations in the most satisfying pizza feast out.
The pizza making party was an absolute blast – full of fun, banter and giggles and would be perfect for birthday parties, girl’s night outs or a hen party.
A pizza making party at Pizza Express costs £21.95 per guest for a minimum of 8 guests and lasts two and a half hours. For more information see the Pizza Express website here.
*I was invited to the Pizza Making Party by Pizza Express however all opinions are my own.
