Hands up who ate too many ice creams over the summer holidays? Well I know I did and I’m still paying the price for it….a wobbly mum bum and a baby bear belly which I am still having troubles shifting. It certainly isn’t as easy as it used to be now the years are advancing!
Now that the little one is finally at school, I’m on a mission to ditch the wobbly bits and get in shape with GymCube. The things is, I do exercise but have always been a bit erratic about it but now I actually have the time to exercise (and no excuses), I’ve decided to get serious about it. I feel so much better after I exercise, and with the days getting shorter a daily feel good boost from the rush of endorphins post exercise is exactly what I’ll be needing to stay positive over in this crazy busy mama life in the coming months.
So what it GymCube?
GymCube is an online community, with membership unlocking ‘myGymCube’, providing support and motivation along with all the resources you need to lose fat, increase fitness, gain strength and lead a healthier, happier lifestyle. Your very own online gym trainer with exercise classes like HIIT, Abs, Combat, Dance (similar to Zumba), Indoor Spin Cycling, Yoga, Pilates and of course your personal training plans. With over 600 videos to choose from, various plans to follow, hundreds of recipes to try and a diet section filled with advice, it’s a one stop shop and an easy way of getting fit and healthy, being supported and being educated on nutrition, training and lifestyle.
I’ve recently signed up to GymCube on their Strengthen and Define Plan because although while I’m the right body weight I want to take my body to the next level – I really want to feel stronger, less wobbly, have more energy, and start getting the building blocks in place to fight the muscle loss that comes with ageing.
Right now, I’m making my way through the 7 Day Kick Start Plan before progressing to my workout plan and lifestyle plan. This is so much more than about fitness, but a way of life which is going to help me be stronger, fitter and healthier in the days and weeks to come.
I’ll be posting weekly on my fitness journey over here on my blog and across social media so keep an eye out to my posts and feel free to give me a virtual high five if you fancy it. And if you fancy getting involved in your own fitness journey you can sign up to GymCube here – they have different plans for beginners to advanced so you’re definitely find something to suit you.
