Painting without the mess! Little Brian Paint Sticks Classic Art Station review + #win

We all know that kids absolutely LOVE to paint. But we all know what we the parents hate – and that’s the mess of painting. The spills, flicks, knocked over paint water and crusty brushes are enough to turn even the most zen parents into gibbering wrecks. But what if all of that could be a thing of the past. Well, well, my friends. It can be – with Little Brian Paint Sticks Classic Art Station.

Hurrah! There’s now a way for your children to unleash their creative side without you having to put a high-vis vest on for a domestic clean up mission afterwards.

You may have heard about the Little Brian Paint Sticks – a fun, clean, simple and very convenient way to paint which have fast become the latest must have toy for any art or craft fan! Now the team behind them has provided us with even more domestic creative bliss with their double sided art station.

As you can see it’s the perfect size for table top use and is simple to set up and fold away. The set comes with whiteboard/chalkboard includes 6 chalk sticks, 6 classic paint sticks, 10 sheets of paper and 1 duster.

E loved alternating between the two different sides, and creating very different types of artwork for both. As a self confessed tidy freak, I personally loved how everything had its place – with storage pots to keep paint sticks and chalk sticks and you can set it up to use it as an easel for painting and drawing.

If you’re not familiar with the paint sticks – a genius idea – then holy moly where have you been?! The shtick is this – simply a case of taking off the cap and twisting them up and down like a glue stick….and painting!

The paint takes seconds to try so no waiting for hours on end waiting for a gloopy piece of artwork to dry. And no need to hover over your little human as if they were on the brink of unleashing some kind of painting accident or calamity which quite frankly just makes everyone feel nervous. Absolutely and totally spillage free huzzah! Perfect for a spot of idle parenting or keeping little people busy while you’re cooking dinner. Annnnnnnd relax.

We love the way it folds up and stores. As a mum who is forever fighting clutter, the fact that it takes up minimal space and has a place for everything plus folds up flat (read: can be put away in my daughter’s room rather than be jammed into any of our overflowing storage boxes or cupboards) gives it extra brownie points.

The Little Brian Paint Sticks Classic Art Station at £29.99 enables mess free painting at its very finest. What mama could refuse that?

  1. My little boy loves his little brain paint sticks, I do too. He would love creating pictures with this art station and we haven’t tried the chalk sticks which look cool. I like that it can be stored away when in use.

  2. I think that these are a great idea, painting and colouring is good for a child’s hand eye coordination and to help with writing, but a lot of parents won’t do it at home because of the mess

  3. It looks brilliant! We are such big fans of the paint sticks and I’m certain we would love the paint station! It’s great that it folds away nicely!

  4. This art station looks great. My granddaughter loves doing art, but there is always quite a lot of clean-up afterwards. This would make clean-up much easier.

  5. What an absolutely great idea. I love the fact that they can get stuck in and release their creative side, and I won’t have a huge mess to clean up afterwards!

  6. This paint station looks fantastic , my 2 year old daughter loves to paint but it’s such a chore some days to prep everything ready….

  8. I think this is such a clever design,it would definitely encourage me to get the art supplies out more as the prospect of mess is so minimal! I think my 4 year old would love it.
