Christmas jumpers, visiting Santa in London & Winter Wonderland + a giveaway!

visiting Santa in London

There’s no denying it…it’s all starting to feel very wintry and for the littles in our lives that means that amazing sense of magic and anticipation is almost palpable. This weekend just gone we had a flavour of some of the fantastic festive magic London has to offer with a visit to the fantastic Santa’s Grotto at The Rainforest Cafe, and the incredible day out that is Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park.

To get in the festive mood, some festive threads were necessary: cue this ridiculously cute and super soft and fluffy Alexa Penguin Knit Jumper (£35) and Tula Velvet Skinny Jeans (£28) from my Angel & Rocket – the makers of seriously cool Brit designed childrenswear and my fave label of the moment.

If this wasn’t the perfect outfit to go and see Santa in, quite frankly I don’t know what is. I knew Santa would been thralled by this super cute and cosy knit sporting a penguin with a lovely furry tummy and cute little bobble hat and the jeans are the perfect combination of style yet durable practicality.

And so off we trotted up to the Rainforest Cafe to be absolutely enchanted by their Santa’s Grotto experience. The attention to detail in this Grotto experience – from the way the Elves take you down there to how Santa seemed to know lots of magical facts about the little (his Elves cleverly mine you for information in advance), this highly personalised experience left the little absolutely mesmerized, and I have to say it was so magical I had to wipe away a little tear of joy from my eyes!

If you’re planning on visiting Santa in London I can not recommend this enough. Santa is in his Grotto every Saturday and Sunday now until 28th November and the visit includes a children’s 2 course meal and drink. For full details, please email their Head Elf directly or call our the Elves in the North Pole office on 020 7434 3111. Alternatively, see their website for more information here.

And if that wasn’t enough excitement, if there’s one place that has to take the biscuit for getting you truly into the festive spirit it has to be Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.

Winter Wonderland Hyde Park

A super sparkly, feel good day out for the whole family, this place is the ultimate in festive fun packed full of fab rides, a Christmas Market, a Christmas Zippos Circus, an ice rink, Santa Land, Magical Ice Kingdom, observation wheel and so much more.

You could come back here a thousand times before Christmas and never get bored of this jaw dropping Christmas Extravaganza. Not surprisingly, we all slept very well indeed after our visit. A festive experience not to be missed this or any year!

And now for a little early Christmas present from me, to you…..
