As the mum of two boys aged 12 and 17, I have a fair few Christmases under my belt. The older they get, the harder it gets. Things get more expensive, and whilst my home is no longer filled with bright plastic toys, I feel my choices are more limited. I want to get them things that they will use, and things that they will love, rather than meaningless stuff.
So here are a few ideas if you are struggling with what to buy teenage boys that don’t require you to remortgage the house!

Gifts Under £10
I am a firm believer that stocking gifts should be no more than £10 per gift. A few years ago it was £5, but you know, inflation! Whilst I put a couple of jokey things in there, I also try to make it useful things worth the money. My top finds for this year include cologne balm, great for taking away with them rather than glass bottles. A rechargeable deep cleansing face scrubber that I want for myself. And what I believe will be the most used gift: trainer cleaners!

- Card Game – Uno No Mercy £6.98
- Pimple Patches – £8.99
- Phone Dust Plugs – £6.99
- Solid Cologne – Set of 4 £9.99
- Funny Book – How to swear in 96 languages £6.99
- Trainer Cleaners – 10x Magic Eraser Sponges £5.97

So they’ve asked for a gift that takes most of your budget, but you also want them to have more than one present under the tree. It’s a tough balance. Especially when you throw in multiple kids, and you want them to have the same number of presents to open. Here are a few ideas for gifts for teen boys under £25

And for the finale, the big gifts. If your teen doesn’t know what they want, here are a few ideas for the main wow present that they will love. This year I really love the voucher books. You can choose where to get the vouchers from and how much to spend, but I think it’s a great gift that they can use to treat themselves throughout the year ahead. A fun gift is the instant colour camera. It’s like a Polaroid, but the difference is you can choose which photos you want to print.

- Wall Art – A2 Batman Print £63
- Neon Sign – £31.99
- Music Boxing Machine – £62.99
- Projector – £89.99
- Instant Colour Camera – £89.99
- Voucher Book – Pack of 2 £8.99 (Vouchers not included)
- Noise Cancelling Earbuds – £42.74
- Smart Watch – £29.99
What would you add to this gift guide? Anything here that you want to grab? Oh! I forgot the essential white sports socks, so I can bin the ones that have soles that look like they were worn to a rainy Glastonbury instead of wellies.
We were sent the Photo Creator Instant Colour Camera from Smyths Toys to be included in this gift guide. Amazon links are affiliate links, so if you click to purchase, I will earn a small commission to be spent on replenishing white socks.
