Learn how to apply your knowledge
Maths is all about problem solving. Therefore, rather than memorising formulas, you should always learn where those formulas are used and how to apply them. It’s also worth learning where formulas come from so that you can confidently derive them in case you forget
Practise, practise, practise
The best way to practise applying your knowledge is by doing questions! Luckily there is an abundance of resources out there – textbook questions, past exam papers, online resources (e.g. AITutor). Practicing questions will not only help you interalise what you need to know but will also train you in applying the right knowledge where it is needed. Be sure to stay consistent and dedicate at least a math session once or twice a week.
Get comfortable with the basics
