Ready to get away from your current city or just looking for one of the best cities to move to? Perhaps you’re looking for a new career and want to know which cities have the most to offer. Or maybe you’re just curious as to which U.S. cities are currently growing.

It could be one of the reasons above or something as simple as just wanting to make some changes in your life, such as getting healthy again after the pandemic and starting fresh in several aspects of your life. No matter the reason for reaching this article, we wanted to take a look today at not only at U.S. cities that are growing… but the best ones to move to.

In no particular order, here are 7 growing U.S. cities to move to

1. Austin, Texas

The capital of Texas has been growing at an almost crazy rate lately. With long-time corporate residents such as Samsung, Apple, and Dell spread around the area, not to mention companies like Tesla and others building or planning to build in Austin, it’s one of the most enticing cities to move to.

One of the biggest perks of moving to Austin is that with such short and mild winters, you can enjoy the outdoors with quality heating options and a light jacket on most days.

2. Fort Myers, Florida

While it may be classified as a “small” city, last year Fort Myers was ranked as the fastest-growing city in America by WalletHub. With great schools, weather that rarely goes below 50°, and being ranked number 1 by WalletHub for job growth, poverty rate decrease, and income growth, it is attracting new residents in rather large numbers.

3. Seattle, Washington

With a 22% jump in growth in 10 years, Seattle might not seem like it’s a massively growing city, but it is growing nice and steadily, and there are a lot of reasons to move there. Especially considering the great moving companies Seattle has to offer and the fact that Seattle is the only city with less than 500,000 residents that has been listed as one of the 30 fastest-growing cities by Stacker.

4. Goodyear, Arizona

Goodyear has exploded in population growth by more than 350% since 2010 according to city-data. With low poverty rates, a median household income of $85,147, great weather, and proximity to Phoenix, it’s no wonder that this city is seeing some fantastic growth.

5. Murfreesboro, Tennessee

This city has seen a 34% population growth since 2010 and last year WalletHub ranked it as a top American city for job growth. With a burgeoning art scene, fairly close proximity to Nashville, and the annual Bonnaroo Music Festival being really close by, it’s no wonder that more and more people are flocking to Murfreesboro.

6. Irvine, California

Irvine is one that has been consistently ranked as one of the top 20 fastest-growing cities for the past decade. For the past 12 years, the FBI has ranked Irvine as one of the safest cities in the country, which has likely been a factor in its 35.5% growth since 2010.

7. Round Rock, Texas

With world famous donuts, a minor league baseball team, one of the best ranked school systems in the state, and proximity to Austin. It’s no wonder that Round Rock has seen a 33.3% growth in the past decade. As it was also the headquarters for Dell Technologies and the fact that it is close to multiple silicon valley-esque businesses, it has become a hot spot for new residents.

These are just some of the top growing cities to move to this year. With this list on hand, you’re sure to find a new place to call home in no time.
