  1. In addition to educational toys, one of the best ways to develop hand eye coordination and development is to give children (safe) real-life objects to manipulate. For example old pots and pans, old clothing to dress up in, cardboad for junk modelling etc. Most early years programmes will be happy to advise on what items are most useful.
