Basically, nuts are a rich source of fibre, L-arginine, and vitamin E. However, the nut size can result in oesophagus blockage and probably choke your little angel as well. So, any whole nuts are one of the top foods to avoid feeding your little one.

2. Canned Food

This food is also dangerous for your baby. Your little one may develop botulism, as well as other bacterial infections from consuming canned foods. Thus, you should not feed your baby this food.

3. Egg Whites

Egg whites have many health benefits and are high protein sources as well. For the baby under a year old, egg whites can be dangerous for them. The bacteria present in egg white may cause stomach upsets and cause other complications as well.

4. Raw Vegetables

Generally, vegetables are a vital source of nutrients and decrease the change of many chronic diseases. Raw vegetables are other foods that your babies should stay away from. However, vegetable such as carrots can choke your baby, and you need to stay away from them as well.

5. Peanut Butter

Peanut butter is a powerful source of potassium, fibre and protein. However, the sticky consistency can cause sediments and result in dental problems for your baby. So, your baby should avoid them.

6. Fruit Juices

Basically, fruit juice is packed with health benefits, and it also tastes wonderful. But, fruit juice, particularly the packaged variety comes with many preservatives that the digestive system of your baby cannot process. Thus, you should avoid feeding your baby fruit juices. Prior to introducing any fresh fruit juice in your little one’s diet, you need to consult your doctor.

7. Whole Milk

Cow’s milk isn’t good for babies under 1 year old due to its proteins and minerals. So, it’s one of the other foods to stay away from giving babies

8. Citrus Fruits

Fruits such as oranges, lemons, grenadines as well as others are rather healthy. They also loaded with essential nutrients such as Vitamin C, potassium, and calcium. However, these fruits contain highly acidic and can result in all sorts of stomach troubles for your baby. Therefore, avoid feeding your little one any citrus fruits until she/he is one year old.

9. Fish

Fish is one of the foods that are good for an adult’s skin, hair and heart. However, it can cause allergies and affect your baby’s health adversely. Thus, avoid giving your baby fish like crab scallops, shellfish as they cause allergic reactions. Besides, seafood tends to comprise of high levels of mercury that can be dangerous for your baby too.

10. Honey

Honey comes with spores as well as other contaminants that can cause infections in babies. So, avoid feeding your baby this food.
