In a world which has become increasingly unpredictable – especially when it comes to travel – I couldn’t think of a better time to buy a 4 berth caravan. There seems to be so many benefits – from the immense freedom a caravan brings to the undisputed cost savings after the initial investment. Buying a caravan is definitely on my list of life long dreams to achieve, and today I wanted to share with you exactly why that is.

Freedom

When the restrictions of Coronavirus ease is when a caravan really comes into its own. What’s not to love about taking an epic road trip when you can stop off and stay pretty much whenever you feel like, without having to worry whether there will be “room at the inn”? All while constantly having a shower and loo with you (the latter being a particular bonus in my book!). Imagine being able to extend your stay at a place you have fallen in love with without any major dramas or costs involved, or being able to high-tail it because somewhere wasn’t quite what it was billed to be!

Also did I mention the fact that you can plan a last minute get away just because the sun is shining and you’ve that Friday feeling without the hassle of trying to find somewhere to stay? Genius!

Savings

Of course, you have the initial outlay when you buy a 4 berth caravan, but after that there are just so many savings you’ll be destined for. Forget hotels bills, being slapped with extra costs because breakfast isn’t included and the like. With most campsites charging from around £10 a night for a caravan – sometimes even less – then I think you’ll agree there are massive holiday savings to be had when you buy a 4 berth caravan. You can find high specification 4 berth caravans at superb value for money from Bailey of Bristol.

The ultimate in staycations

With coronavirus restrictions making foreign travel less appealing and sometimes not possible, more people are turning to caravans! Caravanning has long shaken off it’s Carry On legacy, and they are now more like boutique hotels on wheels and luxury boltholes. And if that’s by the sea or in a jaw-dropping mountain resort where you enjoy the great outdoors then all the better! Don’t believe me? Just take a look at the range of caravans and motorhomes from Bailey of Bristol. All are built with Alu-Tech construction, a new way of clamping the aluminium body shell panels together to make the vehicles protected from the elements. It makes your caravan or motorhome extra cosy and long lasting for better value for money.

4 berth caravans typically feature a front lounge that converts into your choice of either a double bed or two single beds – perfect for families. In the rear bedroom, there are usually three-bed options depending on the model. These are; a fixed double corner bed with access from one side, an island bed with access from both sides or twin fixed single beds instead of a double.

In these models the washrooms are located either across the centre or the rear of the caravan. This means that you can either have your washroom tucked away at the back or have it create a divider between the lounge and the bedroom – handy for use from either side at night and perfect for a family staycation.

You can throw in all the things you might not normally be able to take on holiday with you – including all their favourite toys, food and games. And the kitchen sink comes already included! If you have furry friends then they can come along too which is a massive bonus.
