Remember when children actually knew how to sit still at the dinner table or in class? Fast forward to today and it’s like almost every child out there is a fidgety, wiggly pants. If your child won’t sit still – as mine can’t – it can drive you absolutely nuts! You’ve tried every parenting strategy out there yet nothing works and they still continue to be the living embodiment of Tigger. The thing is, there can be various reasons why your child won’t sit still – it could be that they just have naturally very high energy levels and have a lot of excess energy, or it could be something as simple as their diet or that they are not getting enough physical exercise (my view is kids are like dogs and need to be worn out!).
