Summer brings along beautiful sunshine and incredible outdoors in full force making it a great time to feel your best. From warm breezes to fresh fruits, the season is also filled with incredible delights that are distinct to this time of the year.
However, if you are not feeling inner joy during the season, these incredible offerings can only go so far. Whether you are conscious about your appearance or worried about your health, it is important to resolve those concerns to embrace summer with all its benefits.
To help you with this journey, here’s how to feel your best this summer.
Get Rid of Unwanted Hair
The sunny season brings along all this manicuring of ourselves in preparation for our bathing suit debut. From learning how to choose mummy swimwear to working out tirelessly in the gym, you can feel the pressure to do a lot in order to feel ready for the beach. But even when you have done all of those activities, unwanted hair can still make you feel worried about your appearance.
In order to bid farewell to unwanted hair and feel your best, you can consider permanent solutions. For instance, if you live in Florida, you can look into laser hair removal Jacksonville FL residents have come to trust. This provides you with a seamless way to eliminate pesky hair growths and allows you to feel ready for future summer seasons as well.
Use a Sunscreen
If you are worried about getting a bad tan or inflicting sun damage on your skin, you may not want to step out into the sunlight. But that not only strips you from the fun activities that the season has in store but also affects your mental and physical health in the long run. In order to strike the perfect balance between safety and activity, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen over your skin.
No matter where you live, you can find broad-spectrum variations of sunscreen quite easily. For instance, if you live around the mountains, you can easily discover sunscreen Arvada CO residents rely upon. With an array of quantity options of a potent formulation, you don’t have to search far and wide in order to find the ideal product for yourself.

Eat Light and Fresh
As fantastic as summer is for outdoor activities, it can have some adverse effects on your lifestyle. The consumption of sugary drinks such as iced tea and sweet treats such as ice cream is one such example of a change in your dietary habits. In addition to increasing unwanted weight, these foods can also lead to a slew of health problems.
In order to ditch sugar for better health, look into a fresh and healthy diet. This does not ask you to starve yourself under ungodly heat. But it only requires you to eat healthier foods such as fruits, vegetables, and unprocessed meats. From finding fresh produce in Kansas City MO to discovering organic beef in Houston TX, you can get your dietary items from different sources.
Change Up Your Skincare Routine
Over the summer, it’s important that you lighten up your skincare routine. Ensure you’re using a good vitamin C serum and don’t forget to exfoliate to get rid of those old skin cells which can otherwise leave your skin looking dull. Avoid any products that might lead to clogged pores to avoid any sweaty summer breakouts as your skin needs to breathe and be sure to properly wash your face every day to avoid grease build up. If using Retinol products, be sure to reserve these only for nighttime use as Retenoids make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
Keep Yourself Hydrated
Keeping yourself hydrated is not only one of the top skincare tips for new mums but also remains a crucial practice for anyone who wants to be healthy. Besides giving your skin a glowing appearance, drinking water also flushes harmful toxins from your body. In addition to boosting your physical performance, it also saves you from dehydration while sweating under the sun.
Due to this reason, keep yourself hydrated through the summer season by looking into a handy bottle that you can easily carry around. If your area has a freshwater problem, you can find relevant solutions for it first. For instance, if you live in the Bay Area, you can hire a provider for bottled water delivery in San Jose, CA. This helps save you from the adverse effects of summer while also contributing to your overall health.
These practices seem quite simple, but they are highly significant in their overall effect. By welcoming them into your life, you can feel your best throughout the warm season of joy and get the most out of each sunny day.

Such a great list with some really good tips. I think for me it’s making sure I take that downtime. Whether it’s have a bath in the evening or taking time to do a hobby I enjoy – I always feel best when I manage to destress and unwind from the day 🙂
I’m going to go to the beauty salon to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted
I would definitely try to stay hydrated and apply SPF face cream on my face every day.
I will be doing more yoga, pilates, swimming, hydrating more, eating healthier, and using a ton of sunscreen this summer to feel better!
I’ve been cutting down on naughty goodies & making sure I go for a walk every day!
I love going for a walk outside every day early in the morning. In the summer it’s so warm and there is so much to do that I don’t fancy working out in the heat. So I always plan to do it much earlier in the morning to set me up for the day. Also listening to the birds in the morning is so relaxing too.
I’ll be crocheting and napping with my pets
I will make sure that I apply (and re-apply) high factor sunscreen.
I’m bedbound but I’m going to be focusing on relieving stress with & focusing on my spiritual rituals
I plan to go to the beach as much as possible..
Difficult one for us as we’re still shielding our immunosuppressed son. I try to spend as much time in the garden as possible, keeping up a basic skincare regime to protect my skin. We try to have a treat once a week, a nice bottle of wine, an expensive dessert to keep morale up.
I would love some new products to change up my skin care routines
I also struggle to stay hydrated. With 2 children, I never have time to drink enough water during the day. I must try harder as I know it’s good for my mind and body.
Spend time in my garden with family and our dog
I will make sure I stay hydrated and protected from the sun…… and will be getting exercise on a daily basis.. being in the pool and getting out and about with the family
I am planning to spend time actually outside in the sun. I have Lupus so being in direct sunlight is really uncomfortable, especially when it is hot on my scalp. So sunscreened up and with head well covered, I plan to actually get my vitamin D the old fashioned way
Summer season is the best and hot seasons. So you can enjoy
