Having a nice garden to use in the summer gives you and your family a lot more options when it comes to play time, growing plants, having get-togethers and so much more.

Start a bug hotel
Bug hotels are cheap and easy to maintain. They’re also a great solution for solitary bees and other insects that appreciate the small spaces of home inside. Bug hotels have become very popular in recent times as they can be used to promote the local wildlife and bring homes back to bugs that live a more insular life.
Set up your crops for the greenhouse
A greenhouse should be getting prepped with lots of veggies to grow throughout the summer time. Clean out your greenhouse and get your space organised by lining out vegetables and other seedlings to start growing in your space. Peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and squash, as well as other root vegetables, are ideal for being set up in your greenhouse that can reach optimum temperatures throughout the warmer months.

Take a look at your patio
If you have a patio, or you’re seriously considering one, you may want to have a look at what ways you can keep it optimised. Clean the space down first and ensure moss, mildew and other growth that’s appeared over the winter is cleared away. You could always jet wash this area if you have the tools to do so.
Your decking or paving may need a touch up here and there, which is where you can grab the decking paint, wood treatment or paving supplies. A patio space is great for those hot days in the garden where you can fire up a BBQ in minutes, as well as creating a nice quiet space for reading and eating.
