Right now, we’re all not feeling the best at all times as we all hanker for a life post-lockdown. The past year has been so strange and new and different – with that comes a whole host of emotions. And not only that, but it’s exhausting too. We have all been through a tough time, lost loved ones, not been able to see people we care about, and it’s such a seemingly soul-destroying time to go through. But at the same time, it’s not okay for us to all feel stressed and down and worried all of the time.
Instead, we all deserve to find some source of light to be able to get us through. We aren’t sure how long lockdown is going to go on for. And not only that, but we can’t be sure what sort of effects Coronavirus is going to have for months and years to come post-lockdown.
This is why it’s a good idea for us to try and focus on the positives as much as we can. It’s safe to say that this can be really hard to do when worry is in the air. But at the same time, this year has taught us to be grateful for the little things in life that we all have in life.
It’s made us slow down and really get back to basics with life – and that helps to show us what our priorities are. However, it’s still nice to think of the things we can do to find some happiness. And that’s why creating a post-lockdown bucket list could work for you. Let’s take a look at some post-lockdown ideas to inspire you!
Setting Goals
To start with, you might want to think about putting some goals in place for post-lockdown. You may find that you want to be able to think about things that you can do in the future. Sometimes, you may find that you can do certain things now. But that won’t always be the case. And so, it’s nice for you to think about when you can work towards your goals and what exactly you need to do to achieve them!
Whether this is for your career or maybe even a business endeavour, your health or personal life, it’s fun to plan it out. And not only that, but you can even work on daily intentions to help you to get there. And then, you’ll have something to be excited about.
Planning A Trip
It could be that you really want to enjoy a trip away somewhere. As you may know, travel has pretty much been off the cards for so many of us this past year. So it’s only natural for us to miss it all. Because of that, you may be thinking ahead of what you can do when you’re allowed to travel.
You may even want to plan for the kinds of hotels you want to stay in, flights, transfers, luggage storage, and even activities. After all, you can’t go yet, but you can definitely have fun planning it.
Seeing Family
A lot of us have been unable to see family for a long, long time. So maybe the thing that you’re looking forward to the most post-lockdown is meeting up with family members again. When this is the case, can you plan with your whole family about things you want to do together? Or when you might be able to see each other to have something to look forward to.
Exploring The Country
Because we’ve all been housebound for a while and unable to travel too far, you may even want to enjoy some days out around the country. Maybe you want to go to different attractions or explore different locations? It can be a fun thing to plan as a family.
Going To Dinner
Hands up who misses going out for a date night dinner or family lunch? Why not make a list of restaurants that you’d like to go to post-lockdown and write a sort of bucket list for this specifically? Then you can make plans when they’re open again.
Doing Something Big
And finally, because of the enormity of the situation you may feel like you want to really plan something special for when things are a bit more normal. Now, you may not know when you’ll be able to do this or really plan in too much detail, but you can get some ideas together. It’s nice to research some ideas, considering finding an event planner, and think about what kind of party you can pull together for everyone that you love. Planning something big could be what really keeps you together during this time.
